Spiced Beef Turnover

Ingredients

500g of lean minced beef
1 onion
4 spring onions
2 cloves of garlic
Bunch of parsley
1tsp of paprika
1 red chilli
2 sheets of rolled short crust pastry
Salt and pepper

Test

1. Get all your ingredients together and preheat your oven to 180C.

2. Dice the onion, slice the spring onion and, chop the parsley and garlic. Slice the chilli and deseed it.

3. Mix everything together in a large mixing bowl.

4. Place a sheet of greaseproof paper on a baking tray and roll out the first sheet of pastry on top. Poke small holes in it using a fork.

5. Spread the meat mix evenly on top of the pastry.

6. Place the other sheet of pastry on top and pierce some holes using a fork. Cut into triangles.

7. Bake for approx 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
