When to take THE Whey™?
For best results, we recommend adding 1 large scoop of this fast-absorbing blend (30g) to water or milk 30-60 minutes post-workout. Alternatively, enjoy at any time for a convenient protein boost without the hassle of meal prep.
What does THE Whey™ work well with?
THE Whey™ is an ideal way of staying topped up on premium whey protein, but to achieve your fitness ambitions you also need plenty of carbohydrates to support post-workout recovery.2 We recommend that you try our 100% Dextrose Glucose Carbs to keep your training on track.
It’s also important to support your body through an intense workout schedule by keeping on top of your general wellbeing. We recommend that you take this protein blend with our Daily Multivitamin, which contains vitamin C to support your immune system and reduce tiredness and fatigue.4
2. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. This beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4g per kg body weight, at doses, within the first 4 hours, and no later than 6 hours, following highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle.
3. Creatine is proven to increase physical performance in successive busts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3g of creatine.
4. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
