"Really good product that normally mixes well, two scoops of this and two scoops impact blend combine really well for a high protein and high carb shake which tastes great. The reason I put normally as my recent batch of Oats has come and been chunkier and not the fine powder like texture they speak of, has only happened once but it makes the shake a lot harder to stomach."

"Excellent product for the price, no faults. P.S for all those people that are complaining about the taste, man up! if your not prepared to do what it takes with a fork and knife (or in this case a shaker) then give up and consider taking up ballet or something similiar."

"Taste is alright, I got the unflavoured one and added some chocolate milkshake powder and drank with milk. Doesn't mix perfectly, imagine drinking sloppy ready-brek, leaves a slight gritty taste in the mouth. Other than that it's perfect, fuels my gym sessions great."

"Have been using this now for a couple of weeks, I mix it with two mp large scoops of Total Protein and around 300 - 350ml of water and shake like mad. That seems to do the trick most of the time and I get very few lumps. Now at 1st this did make me feel a bit quesy, but this is more to do with me than the product and not being used to it but after a couple of days I quite look forward to it and I no longer get that quesy feeling. I take one around 6 am and this sets me up nicely for the mornings work which involves a fair amount of lifting, I tend to have a snack around 9ish then one more of these shakes at lunchtime and this fuels me until I get home. This is also great before or after a workout. Mixes well with Mp Strawberry Total Protein. Will definitely be buying more."

"i got the 5kg bag for £9.99 unflavoured and it tastes nice with water as i'm lactose intolerant so no milk for me as i would get bum gravy but even so just open the hatch and swallow simple as that and the price is fantastic, perfect for breakfast mixed in with my impact whey and also pre workout"

"works really good but my only issue with the chocolate smooth is that it makes me feel very sick, to me its like i have to ate about 5 chocolate bars in one go, I have to admit it tastes good just way to sweet and strong for me"

Everyone is complaining about the taste. It is not pleasant; but definetly does not make you want to throw up. Mixability is very average but there are no lumps or anything. Works well: its like having a decent meal. You're not hungry and it gives you loads of energy (similar to a coffee but spread out over a couple of hours). Good product overall

"Fantastic product, I've been using with Raspberry whey protein and it tastes like drinking a raspberry shortcake - great stuff. It does need about 400-500ml rather than the recommended to mix properly though, especially when used with protein."

"i have started to add instant oats to my hurricane xs to add to the calorie count as i am a hard gainer. i use 150m water 150ml milk, 70g of hurricane xs (strawberry) and 100g of oats (unflavoured). it is abit of weird texture but nice to drink."
