"meant to say in my last review, mix the dry oats with the dry maltodextrin with a fork in the bottom of your shaker, no water..THEN add the protein and THEN and water...this was when you shake it, you will not get any lumps at all.....good luck"

"This stuff is the best, flavoured or unflavoured. Quick tip. Mixing is easier if you add a scoop of Maltodextrin as well. Great to add pre/post wrkout shakes, My post workout shake are all MP products.: 1 scoop, choc Impact whey, 2 scoops of oats, I -2 scoops maltodextrin, I scoop peanut butter.....very good. add a banana as well and omg!!, totally recommend the oats and maltodextrin together to give you a good, slow,fast release carb mix..no-where else is cheaper"

"These oats are a brilliant way to add some low GI carbs to protein shakes (unlike the high GI maltodextrin that most branded weight gainers are laden with). I use about 50g in most of my protein shakes (along with maltodextrin in my post workout to increase creatine and protein absorption). It mixes relatively well, producing a slightly gritty texture which I quite like, although it does tend to settle at the bottom of the shaker after about a minute so get it down you quick! Mixed with unflavoured whey it tastes like porridge so no complaints there. Overall a great product at a great price."

I have just recieved my 5Kg bag excellant delivery time again. I bought the unflavoured to mix in my protein/mrp shake which I have 3-4 of daily. Mixes extremely well and adds a nice consistency to the shake. I have dropped from an unfit 18 and 3/4 stone to a fit 17.5 stone over the last year. I am hoping that this bag will help me gain a fat free half a stone. Will update the effectiveness after consumption of the 5Kg.

"I have this most mornings - two scoops of oats, one sccop of choc nut impact whey. quick and easy breakfast and keeps me filled up for hours. tastes good. I use an MP shaker with the blender ball and I get a nice smooth filling shake. already ordered more."

"This works well. Keeps the cravings away till lunch time. Does taste nicer with milk rather than water (it is oats after all). Make sure you mix with a decent blender bottle, ones with the mixing balls are miles better than the mixing meshes - they're rubbish. Nice one MP."

"I take a lot from these reviews so thought I'd better leave some. This product does what it says, but the sandy texture makes it hard for me to go back to them. I normally mix this and some whey protein together, but the recommended amount is a lot or powder, which means a lot of liquid to mix it with, which ultimately makes you rather bloated."

"I use this with 500ml of full fat milk, 2 scoops of whey, and 4 scoops to make a high calorie shake, if you want to use it with whey I reccomend you buy it unflavoured as then your shake will just taste of the whey."
