Myprotein Impact Diet Whey is not even possible to drink because it tastes so bad.

"Love the taste of this, Have Strawberry shortcake with water! tastes great after a workout like a nice treat! Keeps me fuller for longer and if you're rushed for time in the morning it's a great little breakfast. I feel like i have gained more muscle definition using it but at the moment am trying to cut fat to reveal a six pack. I'm happy with this product will be buying another when it runs out!"

First order having used another brand of oats and whey for post-workout shake. I thought I'd go for choc-mint as previous reviews have been very positive. I mix mine with water as there's a plentiful supply at both work and gym and whilst it was very refreshing - thanks to the mint flavouring. I found it to be way too sweet! I haven't had sugary drinks for nearly twenty years and anybody I know who has had diet drinks or tea with sweetener for the first time has always said how it was too sweet and sickly. I didn't think the sweetener would be of any consequence for me (I always find proper sugar too sweet for my taste!) but even so, it's just too much. As far as mixability is concerned I don't have a problem, yes it settles if you leave it for a minute or two but all it needs is a quick shake before your next sip and it's just as it should be. I'll finish the packet but will probably try mixing with skimmed milk or milk/water mix to try and counter the excessive sweetness and maybe buy unflavoured next time. I haven't used it long enough to be able to comment on its effectiveness but it certainly keeps hunger at bay for a couple of hours afterwards. All-in-all I would recommend this to a friend.

"Thought I would have a change and purchased double choc instead of strawberry, Big mistake, the taste of protein overrides any taste of chocolate. Sure our taste are difference, I will go back to strawberry and play safe. The products works and at a good price."

"I just got my Impact diet double chocolate, and let me tell you. It tastes amazing. I had 2 shakes for today, one with milk and one with water. IMO it goes fantastic with milk. Not so much on water. When i tried it with water it was very hard for me to drink, because of the oats there's in it. But i did not have that problem with milk. I'm definitely going to buy this again, when i run out. It mixes perfectly and the taste is superb. I can not give much information about the effectiveness of this product since i just got it so I'm going to give it a 4 overall. I can definitely recommend this to people who wants to loose weight. After just one shake with 2 large scoops and some milk, I felt full for a long time. "

"Mixability.. a little gritty unless you shake lots... if you use electric blender it mixes fine every time. This stuff (in chocolate) tastes absolutely FANTASTIC. I can feel the benefit of the product when i use the 2 portions a day dose, i love this stuff, was gutted to find out it contains a little gluten.... assumingly in the oats? If it werent for that it would be my number one supliment and id be using it daily."
